Returning to Ireland showed me new opportunities. A country with verdant mountains, lakes, parks, castles. A magical island, full of tales and a warm, welcoming culture that is truly breath-taking.
In August of this year, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from Erik and Monique, our friends and partners from Brame Cine Toronto – Canada. Brame is a young and reputable company in that is revolutionising the Canadian market. They announced they would be coming to Ireland for a few days and we knew this would be the perfect opportunity to work together once again.
This is how the idea of a photoshoot between us at Lucas Ramos Photography and Brame Cine was born. Setting up an elopement in Ireland was the perfect opportunity to put new challenges into practice. The ideal excuse to inspire more and more couples to say, 'I do'.
An elopement sounds simple. The couple grabs a car or takes a plane, reaches the dream destination and says, 'I do’. However, regardless of the spontaneity, there is much more behind the scenes that needs to be organised, and we took care of everything.
Finally, on September 9th our photoshoot took place in Glendalough / Wicklow. A beautiful part of Ireland where the Lough Tay or The Guinness Lake sits between the mountains of Djouce at Luggala. A small, scenic lake that made all the difference.
It was a memorable day. Our efforts and our hearts were full of love. The day that had promised heavy rainfall quickly turned into a radiant, and bright day.
Here are some acknowledgements to the dream team that participated in this project:
The venue was chosen by us to suit our Boho style wedding.
Sancha Moran from Sancha's Eventswas part of all the planning and execution. Thanks to her, we found top professionals in the Irish market, she was crucial from start to finish.
The dress and headpiece were arranged by Caiomhe Keane from Atelier Que-va. Her art is delicate, and with her bridal design inspired by movement and nature, she added a crucial touch to this wedding.
The bouquet and buttonhole were arranged by Celine Keane from Celine’s Flowers and Gifts. Celine quickly captured the essence of the wedding and contributed to the beauty of the event.
The hair and makeup of our model were done by a reputable team at Blush Vip Space, who left our bride feeling good and ready for her big day.
We, at Lucas Ramos photography, are genuinely grateful for the fantastic work done by our incredible team. The professionalism and talent of each one of you is much appreciated. We also want to thank our models and our past and prospective clients for joining us on this journey.
